My DS is turning 9 in November and he is already talking about his BD cake. Today the request is for a "skateboard cake with a fondant guy on the skateboard" YIKES! Any thoughts on how I could do all this? I am very much a newbie at all this so I will have to practice before hand. Any thoughts, ideas, tips???

Here's one I found and saved to make for my son. I can't remember where I found it, but I haven't made it yet. The wheels are donuts.
