I see SO many pictures of cakes (wedding) sitting on those lovely, silver cake stands... they're fairly thick/tall, and have the scroll work on them...

I would LOVE to know where everyone purchased theirs! icon_biggrin.gif

I either hire mine from the local decorating shop or I buy 2nd hand from ebay

Good prices and great customer service, and I believe they ship to Canada.

you can do a search under cake stands and get lots of diffrent sites. I found cakestands.com, under cake plateaus it has several really cool stands (diffrent shapes and price ranges). Hope it helps.

Thank you very much for the information. Those are the cake stands I'm looking for! They're hard to find here, and it costs a bundle to ship these things to Canada...

I will be travelling to the States soon (IL and WI), and I was wondering, are they available in stores too? if so, which ones? icon_smile.gif

You could order it and have it shipped to were you will be in the states. I don't believe you can get his in the store.

edited it to say: I believe he has free shipping on orders over $50? or $75?

hey, you might check out ebay too..........there are tons on there.....I entered the search for cake plateaus and cake pedestals and tons of those kinds came up

yeah I have checked on e bay myself .. it is strange because one silver cake stand sells for 180.00$ then the one under it goes for 24.00$ .. maybe one is not as nicely made .. but they sure do look alike!
