I've been asked to do a cake for a friend's DD 16th party. She is having a Club 16 theme. They are inviting 100 guests, mostly teenagers. She would like 3 different flavors.

If I make 3 9x13, doulble layered, will that be enough cake?

The mom said that I can decorate however I'd like, but the DD likes very simple. I'm stuck as to how to decorate these cakes. Because the room will be set up like a club with a huge dance floor, the only decorations are a few "16" balloons. Any Ideas?

I found this in the galleries. You could do something like this, but in a more modern fashion. Use colors the girl likes - maybe hot pink, lime green, purple, etc. Bright colors seem to be in now. You could put musical notes, CD's (almost said records - showing my age), an IPOD, etc. The center cake could be a "present" with a bow in bright colors with Happy 16, then the others the dance theme. I'd do a google search for dancing clip art, and see what I could find. You could do FCBT. I think if you are doing 2 layers each, the 3 9x13's will be plenty.
