What can I use to attach pre-made royal icing decorations to a MMF-covered cake? I'm new to cake decorating, so I need something that is easy to use icon_wink.gif !

You can lightly wet the fondant. I prefer to use a thinned-down royal icing and dab on with a paintbrush before applying the decoration. I'm sure there are many other methods and it may depend on how heavy your RI decorations are, if they are on the side or top, etc...

Thanks for your response. The decorations are pretty light, and they will be adhered to the side of the cake.

I will use royal icing. Put several dots at the back, then gently press down to the fondant. HTH.

Thanks. I think I will use royal icing just to be safe!
