Need Advice On How To Achieve Navy Blue Icing

I am making a Buzz Lightyear cake, and I want to make the background a dark, navy-like blue like outer space. I don't want to do black because I think a giant black cake wouldn't be as pretty. So, I want a nice dark blue. Is there a good combination of the shades of blue coloring I can use to make blue? Can anyone help me?
Americolor has a Navy Blue. I guess you don't have that by any chance, do you? What colors do you have and what kind? You might have to use a bit of black in with your blue to make it dark, if you don't have dark blue. Maybe a bit of purple too. I'd mix a small amount and see how it comes out. I'd start with your darkest blue, add a bit of black and a bit of purple.
I only have the Wilton colors. I haven't seen the Americolor ones at Michaels. I've seen them on here, but I hate to spend a bunch on shipping and handling for one color. The color on the Fourth of July cake homecook has is exactly what I"m looking for. That'll be perfect! Thanks so much. I would have never thought to add violet in there!
I only use the Americolor Navy Blue. It is just great!
