Good morning everyone. OK, I've got a baby shower cake coming up and a White chocolate/ strawberry cake has been requested. Can anyone advise me please on how much white chocolate to add to my DH cake mix? To make a white chocolate raspberry cake, I just add the white chocolate raspberry creamer to it and it comes out wonderfully. However, I've never come across any creamer that was just white chocolate or strawberry. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I thought that I would make the cake white chocolate with some strawberry flavoring and then fill it with the sleeve strawberry filling. I just don't know how much chocolate to add so that it doesn't mess up the texture, etc. of the cake. Thanks so much!!!
The jello pudding is a great idea and will give the cake a mild flavor of white chocolate.
If you want an intense!!! white chocolate flavor, I melt 1 cup of premium white chocolate chips in the micro and stir until cream (but not blazin hot) and whip slowly into my already prepared cake mix and then bake.
I would go with that and use the strawberry sleeve as the filling. If it has the strawberry flavor in the cake mix, it might confuse the flavors. I make this all the time and everyone loves it!!! Let us know which recipe you use and how everyone liked it!!! ![]()
The white chocolate cake from the "Cake Mix Doctor" basically calls for a white cake made with butter instead of oil and white chocolate added to the mixed batter. My son's favorite cake. Good Luck!!
Nestle has the very best.....
Am I too old or do your remember the song?
Oh yea!!!!! Remember it all too well. I was in a store the other day and came across something from back in the day. It was called Gold Rush chewing gum. It's in a little burlap type sack. Boy did that bring back some memories. Oh, those really were the days!!!
