Hello,

I just finished course one and I am going to attempt a soccer cake for my granddaughter. I want to use a good tasting frosting that is different from the Wilton class Buttercream that is made with Crisco My family wants something different. I want something that tastes good and easy to work with as I can get frustrated easy LOL.
Thanks

Use the Buttercream Dream Recipe on this site. It is sooo yummy and easy!

I get rave reviews when I use the Crusting BC (VIVA) recipe from this site with half Creme Bouquet and half vanilla as my flavoring...

Thank you I tried the Butter cream Dream today it did taste wonderful but I don't think it would be good for roses as it seemed to soft. Any suggestions. I am also going to try the Viva Crusting Buttercream this week. Good thing the soccer cake is not till next month gives me time to try new recipes.
