Does Anyone Know...is Buttercream Dream Supposed To Crust?

i just frosted with my first batch of butter cream dream and i love the way it frost and the way it taste...but im wondering if it is supposed to be crusting or not.

also i was wondering if this icing worked well for piping decorations or if it was better for just frosting.

Yes, it will crust. At least it has for me every time I've made it. As far as piping and decorations, I've never had a problem using it, but I've never done anything aside from borders and roses with it.

I just finished a cake using it and it crusts well. You can pop it in the fridge for a few minutes which helps!

Omygosh! This is too funny, but my business name is Buttercream Dreams. I didn't realize there was an icing with the same name, now I will have to use it! LOL!

The icing does crust and you can use it for decorations and roses. For roses, just add less milk.
