Any suggestions on how to achieve this fondant look?
The pic is taken from the Satin Ice wedding cake gallery.

I'm going to hazard a guess, although I really have no idea, and say they dyed their fondant the 3 different colors, then used some of all 3, balled them together then rolled them together so that they didn't blend completely, but making soft lines in between. Just a guess of course.

LOL, too funny! You have NO clue just how funny you catching my error was. It is my job to catch those types of errors....lol. Plus, it's one of my biggest pet peeves, along with "to"and "too", "their" and "there"....well, you get the point.

okay, hcromwell...going back and fixing your spelling error in the original post is no fair. It literally took me a few minutes to see what the heck Doug was talking about and what you were responding to.
Luckily, he quoted you before you edited icon_lol.gif

only one I know of on web.

so not really "new" ...

the cake at top is variation where the blending is done as much and large chunks of original colors are still very evident.
