or what would you suggest instead? I'm making a strawberry flavored cake with strawberry filling. Would it be ok to use bc flavored with ½ vanilla adn ½ almond? TIA!!!

I make a chocolate covered strawberry cake adapted from my mom's strawberry bread recipe .. . the secret ingredient is almond extract. Everyone can never get it but that is what takes it over the top.
