Has anyone ever used pixie dust, and if so do you have any suggestions or pictures I can look at to set an example? I just bought some to put on stars that I want sticking out of a cake on floral wire. Hope it's going to do what I want.

LOVE pixie dust!! In my photos, the crown is painted in a clear gold pixie dust/vodka mixture. On the pillow cake, I painted on the happy b-day Sabine with a purple luster dust/vodka mixture and while it was still wet, I went over it with dry purple pixie dust (it is hard to tel from the pic, though). Also, ont he disco cake, the disco ball is just buttercream sprinkled with a lot of hologram pixie dust. HTH.
