Has Anyone Ever Had A Problem With Americolor Fuscia?

I bought Americolor fuscia and tinted some MMF with it to use in starting a molded figure.
By the time I went to add more to the figure a week later, the color had faded DRAMATICALLY in the part that was left out on the table. It was completely washed out looking.
I have not noticed this with other colors. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem.
I used Americolor fushia for a recent Wilton class...we colored fondant (I used satin ice) We added gumtex to the fondant and made roses and bows. The color faded dramatically to a very pale pink after about a week....I didn't know if this was normal or not, since this was the first time I had used the fushia and also the first time I had used gumtex.....sorry, not much help, but you aren't alone.
Thanks, it's good to know I'm not alone. I thought maybe I got a bad batch or something.
Anyone know why this is happening with fuscia? (Which, btw, is not much of a fuscia color at all).
Purple does this fading thing. Sunlight and florescent lights will fade fondant as well, most colors of it, not just limited ones.
I tell you what I don't really know about the fading of the fondant..but CK products the red, makes the most beautiful fushia I have ever seen (you just need a small amount...And they (the bakery I buy my product from) swears it doesn't fade. But like others say I would try not to let direct sunlight hit it very long.

Is it just called "red"?
I'm going to try to order some. Do you know where I can get it?
