Hiya

I've got a 3D teddy bear tin that I haven't used yet but I'm wondering about this core bit, why do some people use them and some not, also how do you put a filling in a 3D cake?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Paula

I don't think putting a filling in would be a good idea.
Some people have trouble with the heating core while others have trouble without it. For that I'd say try both ways and find what works for you.

I'd use the core!!! Another tip is to use POUND CAKE instead of reg cake mix. It's a stonger cake & helps bear stand up.

The heating core helps the cake bake evenly since it's so thick and deep. I have never tried it without the core but some people leave it out and turn the oven temp down. If you leave it out make sure that the bear is cooked through.
