First I would like to say I love this site and seeing every ones cakes!
Sometimes we are so excited about the cakes we have made and cant wait to show everyone we dont realize that we are taking pictures with the strangest things in the background or sometimes even our decorating mess. Keep in mind you might be showing your pictures to a client some day.....I would like to offer some help to people by removing the backgrounds of your pictures if needed. I can also help fix the composition of your picture. I will do what I can to make them look nicer. (not that they dont already) just send me a PM

Wow. That is so nice of you. I am a horrible photographer! I currently don't have any type of software on my pc that will allow me to do much editing. I should though because my pictures could use alot of help!

wow that is nice of you...isnt that a ton of work....I tried to do mine with microsoft paint and photofiltre as someone suggested but I just cant figure it out...and when I did sort of start doing it...it was going to take forever to do...

I don't suppose there is an easy way to tell us how to do it?

I would love to take you up on that offer, but 1) I dont have any really good cakes yet and 2) I dont even think I will ever sell them so I dont need pics for clients.....

If I ever get to the point where I have one cake I am really proud of I am going to look you up!

Thanks again for offering its so nice!

What a nice gesture. I do have a new digital but I'm not very good with it yet. I also have Photo Editor on my computer at work. Is that the program you use? Any tips on how to do the editing myself. If it's easy to understand then I'll surely try. Thanks again. Kindest regards. P.T. icon_smile.gif

I have Photoshop on my computer but haven't really had much time or opportunity to use it yet. Would you mind posting just some general instructions on which Photoshop Tools/menu options you are using? Thanks so much!
