Hi, I need to make a Castle Cake for my Niece and I'm not sure How to do one.I have been looking at some pictures and it really looks simple.Any tips or advice I would so much appreciate any help!!!!
Thanks,
Stacy
9" square cake with a 7" round cake on top. Make turrets out of cardboard tubes covered in fondant, top them with either sugarcones or cardboard tops covered in fondant.
VERY easy
I made my towers out of butter cookies. They have a hole in the middle of them and just RI them together and covered with BC and topped with sugar cones with fondant. The cookies gave it a more of a stone look which is what I was going for
I have a really easy castle cake in my photos. I used ice cream cones with sugar cones on top for the towers. Next time I would just use cupcakes with sugar cones as the empty cones were very wobbly once covered in icing. I would also use cut straws as dowels under each cupcake so that the corners don't get weighed down. HTH! Good luck!
Yes, msauer I would like to have instructions if you have them.Everyone has been such a BIG Help to me and I appreciate it so much!!!!

Stacy
