i had a student that had alot of difficulties getting her royal right. We finailly tried a different can of meringue powder and it worked fine. The first can she had, was old and had an odor to it, that just wasn't right. Now i have kept meringue powder for a long time, so no telling how long she had it on her shelf at home.
