Hi, my husband may be getting transfered to Houston really soon. We are from Louisiana so it is only 3 hrs. away from where we are now. We are in a really small town with small schools, really nice. My biggist worry about this move is the schools. I have been reserching on the net to find the best ones but would like some honest oppinions from anyone who is there. I have a 5th grader and an 8th grader. What are the best schools and the best places to live. We've lived in San Jose Cal. for 2 years, and a couple of other places, so I'm no stranger to the big cities. But my kids were babies then so I never had to worry about schools.

my personal opinion is that Cy-Fair ISD and Spring Branch ISD are your best bets....they have really great schools! im not familiar with HISD...but prior to our decsion I heard very positive things about both districts...with our oldest he has been in both districts and I loved them!! Great teachers....and schools. thumbs_up.gif

good luck with you move!
