OK, a gal I know wants me to do her 3 year old daughter's bday cake. They are doing a cat and dog theme. She would like to have a cat and dog or kitten and puppy on the cake.

I have TRIED to find an image of BOTH and can't find ANYTHING. I've tried every image search and coloring book image I could find. She likes the kittes from the Aristocats, but there's no puppy!!! I don't want to use the 101 dalmation's puppies or Lady and tramp because they are more "recognizable" as Disney...

ANYONE????

Melissa

I found some very cute ones for you! Go to Google, then click on images. Type in "kitten and puppy together" and you will get some. Good Luck. I hope this helps.

Thanks, but I don't need photos, but clip art type pictures to do a FBCT or with using a projector. I'm not talented enough to take a real photo and turn it into something with buttercream!

Thanks... I've done that too and while I can find some cats and some dogs that are cute, I don't want to just put to random animals on top. It would be nice if they matched styles or were interacting in some way. I found a couple christmas ones like that but not much... so frustrating!

Your link doesn't work? Is it just a cocker spaniel? (as the file name implies before breaking)?

OK...it was there when I first put it in. Yes it was just a cocker spaniel puppy ....but he was cute.

Isn't it funny that you can find TONS of real life pictures of cats and dogs together, but for clip art? Nearly NOTHING (at least where I'm looking!)

Thanks! I had actually found these just before I posted. I LOVE the images, but also felt they would be hard to make into a transfer that would look good. Either their colors blend too much (like a painting) or so many detail lines (the cat and the golden retriever)... what do you think?

But I ThANK YOU FOR HELPING ME!!!!

I saw these too and while I think they are adorable (and one of the few I found that look CUTE instead of silly), don't you think they would be hard to make into a transfer? I just don't feel confident enough in my skills for that.

Melissa, just in case you need some in the future, here are a couple of sites with free clip art. Some of them are pretty simple & would be easy to transfer.

Good Luck,
