Anyone interested in buying, here is some info.

You can use this as a shiny finish on your Fondant or gumpaste icing or decorations.. It gives a very, very shiny effect like porcelain or
lacquer finish. I've seen this used on FoodNetwork when one cake guy painted his Fondant icing in Gold Lustre mix with confectioners glaze. The finish looked like "jewelry" shiny.

I thought well, I can use this for my Chirstmas decorations on cookies or cakes.. icon_smile.gif

Gosh. That is a lot of glaze. You can mix it with extract or everclear for different levels of shine. I mix it half and half with everlear to paint on gumpaste leaves after they are chalked and steamed. It makes it look like a real leaf.

I've always made a confectioner sugar glaze with milk or water, lemon juice, etc. Is this the same type of product? detective.gif

I purchased some at a cake decorating store. It was 8 oz. for $6.99.

yes their is a smaller size - 8 oz for $5.50 need to place an order with them. May have to get this to try on design for Oct.
