I'm doing a cake this weekend, one chocolate and one white. The chocolate one is getting filled with ganache. Trying to figure out what to fill the white one with. Most of the people don't like white chocolate, and I'm trying to think of something that doesn't have to be refrigerated.

Jams or puddings are always a great thing to use. I'm pretty new, so I haven't tried much else.

I usually just mix a tub (or 2) of betty crocker frosting in with my buttercream. I like to use the cream cheese with my white cakes. Everyone just loves the taste.

I cheated and bought a can of ready made lemon filling at my local walmart. That was actually some pretty good stuff. Everyone liked it. =)
