I finished an order today for a cake for 45 people. I used the Wilton 15x17 pan and was sooo excited about how it came out. I left the house for a few hours and came back to a cake that was sinking on one side!!!
This has never happened before and I wonder if I pressed too hard when smoothing and broke the side of the cake. The rest of the cake is in great shape. I cannot fix it by adding more icing since I can't properly smooth it. However I was thinking of topping it with Wilton ready made white and making the top swirly instead of smooth. I've made some fondant curls for confetti and this should look cute on the swirls of icing. Has anyone ever used this before? Is it good? I don't have much time since I'm working 12 hours tomorrow.Help! ![]()
