Sorry this is not really a cake thing but as of 10:45 am calif time the pilot and the fire chief went down in the fire plane while fight ta forest fire in the sequioa hill.So we lost our Fire chief and a contracted person in the crash. It'sbeen a bad day here I am a volunteer for CDF calif dept. of foresty. thank you for let me talk about it.
My deepest sympathies are with you and their families.
Very sad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the people affected. 
So sorry to hear this news.. it kinda hits close to home here since my DH is a firefighter. I try not to worry about him and I REFUSE to keep a scanner on in my home because I would drive myself insane everytime the tones rang out.
I hope your department can come together in this time of grief..

Well the two service were tusday and wendsday the chiefs was on thuesday there were over three hundred people there and over 50 fire trucks from all over calif that showed up they did a presssion(sp?) from the furneral home to the grave site it took about 45 mins to get them all there and the one for the pilot was huge also. It was really weel done. Know off the the huge fire near Los Angles that has been going sence labor day.
Your crew and the family of the fallen will be in my families thoughts and prayers. I wish them strength during this time because I know the fires have no sympathy, so the crew must go on. God bless you and all the firemen, dispatchers, POLICE OFFICERS (my husband is one), and EMT's.
My deepest sympathy to you. My DH works for Public Safety (Police/Fire/EMS). I cringe everytime the phone rings.
