Hi geegee... welcome to CC!

Wow, starting off with edibles? Good for you! I got my printer off of e-bay and the inks and frosting sheets from Kopykake.com. KK has the inks for both Canon and Epson printers, so depending on what you prefer....... All together, including shipping on my printer, I spent less than $200.00 on my system. But KK is right in my backyard, so I was able just to go and buy the sheets and inks without shipping costs. Hope that helps!

i haven't purchased one yet but I think you can find them on kopykake.com - and someone mentioned that they have a Canon i3000 but it's a discontinued EI printer. Not sure if Canon makes others. There are a few tutorials on EI images and I think it also tells alot of information about edible images. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I'm new at this!

www.icingimages.com also sells the printers, icing sheets, and edible ink. I actually bought one of their edible image printers from ebay two years ago. I paid about $130-$140 for the printer, edible ink cartridges, icing sheets, 10,000 images and shipping.
