I have a little leftover ganache that I put in the freezer. Is there any way that I can get it to whip up to use as a filling? It is thawing out right now. TIA!

I've never had any leftovers that I needed to freeze but according to The Cake Bible, if I undesrstood correctly, you can store the frozen ganache for up to 6 months (depending on which kind you're making) and then aerate it after it softens enough.

just whip it up? Do I need to add extra cream or anything?

You should not have to add any more cream to it. Just rewhip. If it appears to look a little stiff add only a small amout to get it the consistency you want.
