What do you add to your cake mix to make dense enough to scuplt without it falling apart?

I use pound cakes to sculpt. The Cake Mix Doctor has some good recipes.

I add a box of pudding, an extra egg, and milk instead of water. It makes for a nice moist, dense cake.

All you need to do is use two tablespoons of oil instead of whatever the box says.
