Hi, I have a great deal of saved cakes in my favourite photos, and one day I came upon a simple cake, with simple lines, that I loved. As I went to save it ... our power went out.

I've been searching through archives in every category I can think of, only to be driven to distraction. If anyone has a picture of this wonderful three layer Sesame Street cake, please attach a link to where I can view, and save it.

It was three layers. Blue, for Cookie Monster, Yellow for Big Bird, and Red for Elmo. The colours were very vibrant and beautiful. The sides looked liked they'd been combed. I'm am desperately obsessed with finding this picture. Please ... before I lose what's left of my mind ... HELP ME icon_smile.gif

Thank you in advance for your kindness!! icon_rolleyes.gif

basically go into the galleries, on the top it says search images... you can put in sesame street and it will bring up a ton of sesame street cakes, and these are just a few that sounded like they met your requests... i only looked at the first two pages.
Good luck

Thanks noley,

I've been searching for probably 3 weeks now ... I've searched out Sesame Street a million times ... nothing. I'm sure the person said it was her first cake ... or at least first stacked cake. So I've looked in any category I can think of, and thousands of pictures later ... I'm still looking.

It's a very plain cake, no fondant, all buttercream, each layer is one colour, combed sides, and a picture of cookie on the blue, big bird on the yellow, and elmo on the red.

Any help is much appreciated icon_smile.gif Thanks!!

Thanks so much for all your help so far .... I appreciate it sooo much. Alas ... the search continues. At times I almost think I dreamt the cake. Some weird hallucination. I will search until the end of time!! Again ... your help is very appreciated.

I found it!! I don't think I'll post it here ... but if you want to see it let me know ... I'll send you a pic. I look at cakes here and Wilton all the time. It turns out ... this cake was in Wilton. I'm sure I saw it here too, but at least my sanity returns!! Thanks for all the help, you're all great!!

P.S. if you think it's okay ... I would post it. A little advice please! icon_smile.gif

As has been discussed in many other threads, posting a link to the site or picture is preferable to posting a picture which is the property of someone else...

I'm glad you found it! I know how frustrating it is to search for something you KNOW is there, but cannot find.

I'd love to see your finished cake. You can post that with no problems icon_smile.gif
