Thanks beachcakes! I was thinking chocolate. I made milk and dark chocolate flowers and white chocolate butterflies for my wedding favors 3 years ago and everyone loved them. The only thing I had to remember was when trimming the flowers was if one broke I DID NOT have to eat it, I could throw it back in to melt again. I figured that out after about a dozen!!
CakeNewbie-those cakes are stunning! That should give sunlover00 lots of great ideas!
All the beta fish talk makes me miss my dear departed Sammy the blue and purple beta. I have a new beta Frankie Fish Sticks but he's just not the same. icon_sad.gif

One of the things I have done when people wanted a cake for a small amount of people was to make the tiers shorter, a 14 inch tier but only 2" tall cake then filled to make it about 2 1/2" tall. This way you can cut a larger piece but it won't be over whelming because it is shorter than normal. The cake appears larger than what it really serves. icon_smile.gif
