I NEED HELP!!! I just put together an idea for my dad's birthday cake with his girlfriend and all of a sudden I have no clue what to do and how to even start.
First off the cake is supposed to be a 2 tier cake with a 10" and an 8" round both 4 inches high. Using hidden pillars. That part I am fine with and have done before. What I would like to do is I have tons of pics of vintage vegas (signs, hotels etc.) and I want to decorate sides of cake with pretty accurate looking signs from the hotels and casinos and have the welcome to las vegas sign sticking out the top layer in gumpaste with happy b-day on the other side of it. the gumpaste sign I haveno problems with either.
My question is does anyone know of anyway that I can get these sign images from a photo to somesort ofa template so I can decorate it. I just dont want to use an edible image at all.

My suggestion would be to print them out, the size you want and maybe do FBCT, in wonderful neon colors of course! I know piping gel does not taste well, but that might look OK also. Good Luck!
