I have purchased a used computer for my son that has windows 2000. I have never used this before and like a dummy deleted the previous user and made my son an account. I was trying to set him up limited(so I can control) and now I can't even get his internet set up as that account does not have administrator rights and is not allowed to do this and I can't log on as admin because I don't know any passwords so can I restore the computer to retrieve that acoount or is their a generic password for the default admin or am I just screwed and it is now useless unless I buy xp?
