I have been asked to do a cake for a Bridal Shower, being new at this and have never sold a cake I need a bit of help on the pricing. She wants a tiered cupcake tower, with 50 cupcakes. Nothing too fancy...Just not sure what to charge...

My cupcakes start at $1.50 each and go up from there.

Some people charge as little as a dollar per cupcake. Since you are pretty new to this you may want to keep your range from 1.25 to 1.50. Of course some of this depends on your decorating design on each cake. Don't forget to consider the tower part of your set-up whether this is for a friend and you are loaning the tower or if you rent it with a deposit. You want to get your tower back.

I am doing 30 bridal shower cupcakes for the end of the month. She wants fondant on the top with 3 gumpaste cherry blossoms as well. I have quoted her $70. We haven't decided on the flavor, but it may go up in price from there.
