Another Fbct Question...

OK, here is another buttercream transfer question. I just don't get it. When ever you are through outlining everything and filling it in, then you cover the whole thing in icing to match the color of the cake, right? When you do this, doesn't the pattern get messed up?
I am desperate for answers b/c I have a cake due tomorrow early morning and have this logo that I need to do and have no clue how to do it other than FBCT.

Please explain.

It is one of those things that it makes sense that it would mess it up, but it doesn't. icon_biggrin.gif Just don't go sticking your spatula right into the design, though. icon_lol.gif I usually pipe on the background out of a bag then spread with the spatula.
