I just notice the nominate me spotlight button is now on my posts.....ack! I have zero talent, just trying to learn....anyway to remove this????? I dont even know why it appeared? icon_redface.gif

good idea kiddiekakes...probably it has something to do with me posting so frequently the past few days or something...cant figure out what else it could be...

i just feel a bit silly....I love gabbing with all you ladies (and some gentlemen) but I am really no good yet (I hope there is hope for me yet)!

OT- but Lubbakin I just love that pink and green 1st b-day cake that you did.....its in my favorites and I am going to try and I stress TRY to do something similar for my niece's 5th b-day...I just love the colors....you are so talented!

boonenait you deserve it! I did read those threads and as you stated I figured it out...I met the min requirements...still wish there was a way to turn it off but I guess I will stop freting about it.

no one deserves it more than anyone else. If enough ppl vote for you
and the CC administrators think you should be featured, they will ask you, if you dont feel comfortable, then you don't have to do it.

"The minimum requirements are:

You must have made at least 100 posts in the forums
You must upload at least 1 photo outside of the Naughty cakes gallery
You must have gallery comments activated on your account.
You must be subscribed to the cakecentral.com newsletter "

Yes, they are made of royal icing. Same as the ones on the cake. My DH glued them to the wires for me. icon_biggrin.gif You could also make them out of gumpaste if you wanted. Just make sure they are really dry before you glue them on the wires. Good luck!

boonenati- I voted for you yesterday- as soon as I saw your name- I lvoe you cakes and your figurines- you do such a great job and I think this is a great way to get to know each other!!! So many talented people on here- isn;t this site the best- I just keep waiting for them to charge for a membership!!! trust me I would pay!
