Full Time Student.... Should I Take Class Ii Or Wait?

I just finished the wilton I class and I loved it but I also wasn't in school for the first 3 weeks. I am now taking 16 hours of college courses and I am debating whether or not to sign up for the next class next week. I tell you what, last week was my first week of school and I had to bake my cake and frost it and I was a little overwhelmed. It just seemed like it was so much to take to class along with the roses that I made. How time consuming is class II? I'm trying to get in practice for a tiered cake that my parents want me to make them in December but at this rate I don't know if I'll make it to class III. Has anyone ever done this without taking the classes? I really enjoy making cakes and I even got an order for a baby shower cake in October after some friends saw my final cake but I know I have to set my priorities if I want to succeed in school. How much at home time does class II entail???
Hi! This is my story. I took class I no problem, I took class III next as Class II was not being offered that month, besides the fondant roses taking forever class III was not a problem. I finished Class II in the month of August, while my Mom was down visiting for the whole month. I could not practice all the flowers as I was enjoying my Mom, so I did not even go to the last class to put all the flowers on the cake, so I have re enrolled in class II this month. Personally, I think it will be too much, but you never know. GOOD LUCK!!!! Brenda

I forgot, you are only baking ONE cake for the last class, but in Class II you are learning ALOT of different flowers, and with my Mom down, I did not put the practice time in as I usually would have. Now you are only baking one cake for the last session, but you are bringing icing to every class. Good luck!!
