CSI (Nevada) is my fave. I just love William Peterson's character, he's so unique. The other members of the cast are good too.

Really like Gary Sinise, but the chemistry just isn't the same.

Don't get me going on CSI: Miami. I can't stand that red-headed guy.

I never watched NYPD Blue until after he was off the program and thought it was really well done. Then I saw the earlier ones and couldn't believe they were able to keep an audience with him in the cast.

The guy was nothing short of a saint - which can be pretty darn boring!!!

Give me a real man like Sipowicz (sp) or Simone!

CSI: Las Vegas is still my fav. I've watched the NY version and it's alright, but Gary Sinise is just too stiff. Grissom is the best and all the characters in LV just seem to work so well together. I haven't watched Miami except for that first episode that tied in with LV. I agree about the redhead, he's boring.

CSI Las vegas is the best!!! THE ORIGINAL!!! Grissom is just awesome!!! Even my dh that doesn't speak frequently English watches it with me.
But I like the Miami version. Not as much, but I like it. But I do agree that David Caruso isn't the best actor. If they changed him, I wouldn't cry. The NY version, well, it's not on, on the good day or time. So I don't watch it as often as I would like.

But CSI is my kind of show!!!!

We also love the original in our house! They all have such great chemistry together on that show. I like MY, but can't stand the red head on Miami either.

Well, I have to admit we watch all three CSI's. But our favorite BY FAR is the original one, based in Las Vegas!! Grissom is the best!!! The whole cast is great together.
I LOVE Gary Sinise, but he does seem a little stiff or something in this role. But ultimately I like this show.
Now CSI:Maimi..... While I really like the show, I can not stand to watch David Caruso (the red-head)!! When he does one of those head sort of over the shoulder looks, I just look at my DH and roll my eyes. He is so fake or something! JanH, I never watched NYPDBlue while he was on there either, I started watching later, and loved it.

The original! I've never seen NY, and lost interest in Miami partway through the first season. BLAH!

I was in Vegas in January, and kept giggling over things that I knew from watching the show!

I AM SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!! I finally found CSI fans, YIPEEEEE.
I am in LOVE with Grissom, Nick, & basically all the men on the show, oh except for the "new" lab guy, Hodges?
I do like Miami, even the red-haired guy- except when he does that head thing, doesn't he get a sore neck? But I have trouble with the long blonde haired female, she smiles at the most weird times, I've seen NY, but don't get to see it too often, bad timing I guess.

Original is aboslutely the best! thumbs_up.gif LOVE William Peterson and his character makes the show! We do watch CSI NY, because I dod like Gary S., But yeah, I think what bothers me the most about is 1) Melina Kanakaredes--cannot STAND her and 2) was (because she is not there anymore) Vanessa Ferlito. We used to call her "lips". But I think overall the chemistry is no where the same as in the original CSI.

Will NOT watch CSI Miami. I used to love David Caruso on NYPD Blue, then he got some ego on him! His acting is something less than desired and overall the show does not seem anywhere near as good. But, David is the major reason we do not watch. Hubby and I even make puking noises when we see commercials! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

I totally agree with you 100% about everything!! We will make plans around these shows. Especially the original one, the others we might tape if we are going to miss them, but the CSI (Las Vegas) we can't miss!! Want SO badly to get TiVo or something like it!!

LOVE GRISSOM!!!!!!!! I have trouble with the long blonde haired girl too. I just can't make myself like her. Something about her......

OMG!! Were you guys shocked at the season finale last year when Sarah walked out of his bathroom (or hers, not sure who's place they were at) with next to nothing on?!?!?!!? We can't wait for this season to start!

I can't believe I forgot about that!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just about fainted, and started "yelling" at the t.v. that they just can't stop the show there, and how in the world was i supposed to last the summer without knowing what was going on!!!!My DH and DB think i am absolutely nuts, and they don't like the show, so i usually lose out when there's a vote for the t.v. i MUST get my own!!
gotta go, hafta check on my other mail, and CSI starts in 15 minutes!!

CSI-Las Vegas is my very favorite but Miami is a VERY close second. I love the red head (David Caruso). He's no Grissam but I love him almost as much. New York thumbsdown.gif Such a waste of an hour of T.V. Can't wait until Sept. 21!!!

Thanks Arwin. The window coverings are made of black felt and tissue paper. I just find a pic on the net I like and make it into a pattern (basically 2 or 3 colors.
As far as the pumpkins go I find some of the patterns on the net and lots are just done from a coloring book or coloring pages on the net. Then I just decide how I am going to carve it to look real.
The ones of my daughter I just do from a photo. The neighborhood kids just love them and THAT makes me happy. This year I plan on doing even more and hopefully (time permitting) plan on doing a bunch from Pirates of the Caribbean. I will once again add them to the same link. Thanks again

Horatio Caine wearing his sunglasses inside and all his ridiculous one-liners make me want to drink in the afternoon!! HOWEVER..........

I have totally adopted his saying "What a stellar human being"..... it cracks me up!! icon_cry.gif

As for Grissom....... oh my! How I would like be a fly on the wall of his office!.... well, you know... he's an entimologist so, like, he would be totally into the fly.... icon_lol.gif (yes, I realize I am a complete dufus)

I LOVE that they finally put him and Sara together..... if I can't have him then it should be her. icon_smile.gif

CakeDiva73,
I too am glad that they have finally put Grissom and Sara together or so it seems that way. They have teased us with that for a while haven't they? Can't wait for the 18th and the 21st. I can't help it, I love Horatio! And of course I love Grissom. Who doesn't?

Sorry, but I can't stand the show. Because I'm a Crime Scene Tech student the writing and characters scream BS to me. There's no such thing as CSI the way this show depicts it. They've combined CID (Criminal Investigation Dept.) and CST (Crime Scene Tech) into one "character job". It just doesn't work that way.

As a CST you are trained to remain *totally* neutral. You are not supposed to attempt to solve anything. You are there to collect evidence and secure the evidentiary chain of command.

I'm glad yall enjoy the show, and I'm not bad mouthing anyone. icon_wink.gif

I was watching the "new" CSI shows but please correct me if i'm wrong, but did Las Vegas already have their season premier, and that was the one with Catherine getting drugged, etc.
What happened to Grissom and the other girl (i can't remember her name to save my life!!) when they ended last season and they were in their bathrobes!!! I better not have missed it or i'll go crazy icon_cry.gificon_mad.gif
please someone let me know what is happening on the show icon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

Yup they started this week (not sure about Miami and really don't care icon_razz.gif ). The one with Catherine getting drugged was the premiere so if you saw that, then you are okay. The continuation is next week. They didn't show much of Grissom and Sarah--just little looks to each other and "sweetie" niceities.

Las Vegas is my favorite too, and I am so annoyed with myself and the network. I got caught up in Gray's Anatomy season opener and decided I'd be able to see the CSI episode later on, then the next night they showed the GA opener again, I didn't have to miss CSI!

I lived in Vegas for a couple of years, and it is fun to see places I was familiar with too, but I have to say, that place grows and changes too fast! Janice

thank you thank you thank you!!! for the info re: the series premier icon_razz.gif
i can't wait for the next one, and what in the world is catherine ("K") goin to search out her own criminal without anyone knowing? my DH actually watched with me 1/2 way thru, but was spouting off about the show, so it was a little hard to concentrate.
i did see the little goo goo looks, and that grissom got sarah the "veggy" burger (he remember!!) i'm so much into this show it's ridiculous, but that's the only tv that i'll watch. so i figure i'm entitled icon_lol.gifthumbs_up.gif
hope i don't miss it next week,

Hi, I just caught a late-nite repeat of a Miami episode. I can't figure out how old it is, but Horatio doesn't wear his dark glasses even outside, and actually has facial expressions and smiles! What happened to all of that I wonder. This one had the actress with lots of dark hair...Dana is her first name but can't remember her last one.

The show was a lot better before "H" became a robot. Janice

Can't believe they killed off Keppler (Liev Schreiber).

His character was very complex; he was a good man, but he had a tragic flaw.

He redeemed himself by saving the prostitute and Catherine, but at the cost of his own life.

Great drama!!!!

I cried like a baby....

Wish they could have worked him into the series as a recurring guest character; he's a great actor!
