I'm making a cake this week in the shape of a crayon. Going to use a long loaf pan - thought about using a waffle ice cream cone for the point of the crayon. Has anyone ever done this or got any better ideas??? Your help and ideas are always appreciated.

Maybe do a jelly roll cake with the ice cream cone for the tip.

The ice cream cones are pretty common- and look pretty cool. Check in the gallery - there are some really groovy crayon cakes in there- a wealth of inspiration is the CC Gallery icon_cool.gif

Thanks for your help everyone - will post a picture when I get it done. I'm sure I'll be "ad-libbing", as usual! icon_rolleyes.gif
