Does anyone know where I can get a decent pastry brush? I have bought several over the years, and all of them seem to be rather disappointing.

Most of them the bristles fall out, and that is just not appealing. If it gets in icing, and I don't see it, I'm afraid someone will think it's a hair or something. The other problem I have is the end of it just coming off completely, that happened with my Pyrex one.

Do you think the silicone ones would work? I haven't bought one yet, because I just don't see it being as effective as an actual brush, but thought maybe one of you that's actually used one might know if there's a difference.

Thanks so much in advance. Any advice at all would be grealty appreciated.

I'm not sure about the silicone brushes (have wondered myself) but I really like William Sonoma products. They seem to hold up longer and be of better quality. Just my 2 cents worth. icon_wink.gif

Hope you find what you are looking for!
