I am thinking about making my first cupcake cake tomorrow. I am just curious if anyone has had any troubles with transportaion. Is it stable enough to be transported, or is the icing fragile between the cupcakes making it easy to crack? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!
The thing I figured out the hard way was make sure your cake board is what is sturdy!!!
I ALWAYS double my cakeboards now!!! As for the icing I have never had a problem with it cracking between the cupcakes! A generally anchor my outside cupcakes with a bit of icing underneath them to hold them secure to the board too!!
