I have a picture I want to put on here but its telling me its not the right format. Does anyone know how I can change this? I think it said it was in a BMP format.

I'll give it a try....pull up the picture and save it again but this time type in, for example,

cakepic.jpg

The extension jpg will make it a photo picture.

Open your picture, click on File, then choose Save As, then click on Save As Type: JPEG format.

You can't change the format of a file simply by giving it a new extension. You have to run it through a piece of graphics software and tell it to "save as" in the new format. Nearly everybody's got Windows Paint (if you've got a Mac...sorry...I know thing about Macs). Just fire up Windows Paint and open the picture from inside there THEN do a "save as" by choosing the appropriate format from the drop-down list. It's limited to only four or five formats, but it can change a bmp into a jpg. If you're not familiar with Windows Paint, it should be in your Accessories folder. Hope this helps.
