Is a wonder mold cake ( I can't even level round cakes icon_redface.gif ) I read somewhere about pushing cake down with a towel but I can't find it now. How do I do this ? Thanks a lot, Caixa.

When the cake comes out of the oven you take a clean kitchen towel and gently push down on the cake but be aware that this can change the density of your cake and that's why I don't do it! The wonder mold is easy to level. Before you turn the cake out take a serrated knife and lay it on the cake pan and use it to guide you across the top of the cake to level it.

I always use the small wilton leveler. As long as you go slow and turn the cake before you get thru the last part (that way you are slicing from the side of the cut) it won't tear up the cake!
