I need ideas for my grandfather's 80th bday party. His biggest interest has always been woodworking. I could only find 2--one was a sheet cake cut to look like a saw and the other was simply decorated with miniature plastic tools. I don't want it to look too "cutesy." If anyone has any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Try making a toolbox. You could use a regular box cake design and have assorted tools hanging out.

I like the toolbox idea and was thinking of how I could do it. Thanks for the photo link. That helps a lot!! You did a fabulous job! I like the extra touch with the cakeboard. Very Cool Cake. Thanks for sharing!
