I am doing a fairly large cake that has scrolling all over it. The party has asked for cream cheese icing & the scroll work is in black. In the past I have had problems with bleeding not sure if the icing will make a diffrence. I generally use butter cream. Any suggestions would be great thought about using chocolate & going black but not sure how that would taste on cream cheese ![]()
Chocolate cream cheese icing would be yummy! I have only done a few things in black (buttercream) and I have not had problems with it bleeding. I guess because i start with dark chocolate BC, so not so much black in it. i guess it just depends on the cake flavor and how much scrolls you have to do if the chocolate would taste good or not.
