Help - My Cake Flopped!!!

I have a cake due tomorrow and it just flopped. It was a Strawberry scratch cake - recipe found here and it stuck to the pan and broke when I turned it out. I greased the pan like I normally do, so I have no idea why. Anyway - I need a cake quickly - is there anything I can do to a Strawberry cake mix to fancy it up?

You could add either strawberry extract, thawed strawberries or strawberry gelatin....

very easy strawberry cake that is very tasty:

1 strawberry cake box mix
1 french vanilla instant pudding
1.5T vanilla

the french vanilla sort of colors the cake odd but it still looks strawberry and its sooo good. I can't even remember who I stole this recipe from but its from this site.

this cake goes awesome with the marshmallow fluff/cream cheese filling and sliced strawberries, but of course then it needs to be refrigerated.

also put parchment at the bottom of your pans to keep from sticking on the bottom. good luck! icon_biggrin.gif

Here is my favorite Strawberry cake recipe. However the base is actually a white cake mix:

1 pkg plain white cake mix
1 pkg 3oz strawberry gelatin
1 C mashed strawberries w/ juice ( fresh is best)
1 C vegetable oil
1/2 C whole milk
4 eggs

Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour pans (actually I just spray them with pam). Mix all ingredients on low speed for 1 minute. Mix on high speed for 2 more minutes. Pour into pans. Bake 28-30 minutes. REcipe fills 2 9-inch rounds.
