Hi everyone at CC. I know this has been covered before but i can't find the old thread.

How long can you keep fondant flowers for? I'm using shop bought fondant that you roll out to cover cakes with. I have some birthdays and a wedding in a few months and i'd like to start making them soon to save me rushing nearer the time.

thanks in advance for any advice

once dry they will keep indefinately. Do keep them out of direct sunlight as the light will fade the colors. I just use the plastic shoe box type containers to store my flowers in.

If you also put some silica gel in with them this will alos help them. you find silica gel in shoe boxes here in Australia not sure where you would get it in England. you could also use any heavy plastic container to keep them in.
