HOW DO I GET BLACK ICING TO NOT BLED ONTO WHITE ?

Some one jsut posted this earlier. I make my own black icing and it helps tremendously. I make it a gray color an it turns black as it crusts over and I hardly ever have any bleeding.

Add some meringue powder to it. Not too much, though...youll make it bitter if you add too much.

Make sure your white frosting has crusted well first. And your black cannot be too thin either. Good luck!
