What Is Contact Paper?

I have never heard about contact papet before and I was wanting to know what it is and where can I buy them? Thanks for comments. icon_smile.gif

Adhesive-backed vinyl shelf liner. Comes in a roll at most Wal-Mart type stores.

I bought some just a few days ago in WalMart. I got a roll of white and a roll of clear. It also comes in designs. I found it back by the brooms, mops and kitchen things in Wal Mart. It's about $5.50 per roll but there is alot on one roll.

Here it is known as Mac-Tac it can be used for covering pict nic tables as it is good in all weather and can be wiped clean. Some people use it to cover kitchen cabinets doors to decorate their kitchens. We can it at just about any store here such as the dollar store, walmart, zellers or any hardware store.

I just want to add that it is repositionable now. I remember the contact paper of long ago ... once you stuck it, you were stuck! Wrinkles and all!
