Well...

I can tell you what I did but I can also tell you that im sure its not the best way. lol It worked for me but im SURE there is an easier way. icon_rolleyes.gif

(sorry I dont have any pictures either)

I made mine out of both royal icing and fondant.

When I used royal Icing, I made the stamens flat on a surface over waxed paper, let them dry, then stuck them in a dot of icing. They were flat on one side (the back) but, it was the best I could do at the time.

When I made them out of fondant, I mixed the fondant with gum-tex, let dry over night, then placed in the flowers with a dot of icing.

For both ways, I went back and added detail with the royal icing. (the little dots on the end of the stamen...whatever theyre called lol)

So, thats what I did but I would love to know what everyone else does! Im sure I would be able to save myself a lot of trouble. icon_smile.gif

Thanks!
Heather
