Cake For 78 Year Old Uncle...i'm Stuck!

I could really use some suggestions for my uncle's birthday. I bake for them frequently and have decorated lots of generic type cakes but I"m stuck for something different. It doesn't need to be large at all....only a few will be there and he doesn't have alot of hobbies. He's not into sports, or cars, he doesn't do puzzles or play cards or have pets. If I could make a flat screen tv I'd be doing something but I think I'd need to use fondant and he doesn't like it. I's lost and brain dead. Any ideas? Thanks.
This one might start your "idea wheels" to rolling. If he doesn't watch sports, maybe you could do the screen on top like jenncowin did and then his interests around the sides in place of the sports theme. Just an idea. Hope you find what you are looking for!
