This has probably been asked before, but I ran out of frosting! I only need a little bit more, so can I store the rest of the batch in the Freezer? If so, how long will it be good for? Then, do I thaw in Fridge or room temp? Any help would be great!! icon_smile.gif

Yes it can be frozen, and i always just pull it out a day ahead of time and let it thaw

I have some in the freezer right now. I'll be taking out them to use on a cake for the family today, hopefully.

Thanks. Now, how long can it be stored there? I know for the fridge it's about 2 weeks. I'll probably use it next month, but for future reference, how long can it stay in the Freezer and still be good?

just dont use the microwave to thaw it. it will ruin the consistency. time wise if its wrapped well i would say 6 months or so. just keep it away from meats and you should be ok.
