Hey!!

Ok, I have a disco cake due on Saturday and am trying to think of how to do a disco ball without using styrofoam (if all else fails)

So far I am in the process of making a sugar mold, but starting to get concerned it may be to heavy.

I am wanting to somehow hang it above the cake. So pleeeese if you have any ideas, I would appreciate the wealth of knowledge you all have to share.

Thanks!

What about rice krispie treats? I've made them and put them in the mini ball pan and it came out round. How big do you need it to be?

I'm also thinking RKT. It is so easy/nice to work with. Maybe suspend it on a dowel covered with "paper streamers" in gumpaste.
