I buy mine at my local baking supply store. I use it instead of gum paste powder. but you can use the Wilton gum paste powder and not have to buy tylose.

It is a thickner/hardening agent that is edible to be added to Fondant, traditional or MMF, to turn it into gumpaste for modeling 3D figures, flowers, etc.

You buy it online or in cake supply stores. I think Michael's carries it.
